Greetings all!! It's been a couple of weeks since I have written a blog post or even posted on Instagram. Honestly, I took a break from all social media, so that I could focus my energy on my daughter, Claire, before she headed back to school in California. It was a fun time of shopping, laying by the pool, cooking, and doing whatever she wanted to do. I'm glad I took the time. Sweet memories of time spent with loved ones, are life's true treasures.
The house was quiete this weekend, so I decided to put out a few more patriotic decorations. The addition of a few flags, a tabletop tree, and some throw pillows help things feel much more festive.
I don't always put out the Radko tree, simply because it is a big blue glitter bomb. However, I decided it was worth the extra effort, and cleaning, this year.
This little tray was a Christmas gift from a dear friend. I leave it out all year as a reminder to be happy and celebrate every day God has given us.
Just a little touch in the powder room.
And a small touch in the kitchen.
All the decorations with the exception of the tree, ornaments, and big blue fan, came from Hobby Lobby, last year. If you would like to see my outdoor patriotic tablescape, you can do so here.
Thank you for checking in. Later in the week, upon completion, I will be sharing an outdoor project that has been on my list for a LONG time. Here is a sneak peek.
